Say what you will about TG US (I actually like it), but they achieved something TG proper did a few years ago. They are being shown (albeit in a badly dubbed version) on German TV. I just saw that news/docutainment channel N24 is running a TG US marathon today. So next time some FP haters are kinda blase about it, saying that they only watch the original, you can surprise them with the fact that the US version gets aired on several continents too.

I love it. Their chemistry is improving (much like it took awhile for TGUK's to improve) and I love the non-studio filming. Great background scenery across the US and awesome used car challenges, which was always my favorite part of TGUK. Kudos for their entry into German TV!

That's the problem over here. Everything gets dubbed. Germany+Austria+Switzerland are a big enough market to dub stuff. Maybe that's why Germans have such a hard time getting rid of their accents when speaking English.

I know, I've switched into German channels with dubbed American shows on them before. Was the same way when I was in Italy a few years back.

I know subtitles instead of dubbing have helped my English for sure, but I think anyone that has English as their second language will have an accent.
